Natural Onion, Carrot and Pepper Broth
Beef or chicken broth is a seasoning widely used in the kitchen, but it has large amounts of s alt and fat, so it should be avoided and replaced with herbs, natural seasonings and spices. So, to prepare a delicious homemade broth you will need:
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
- 1 chopped onion;
- 1 carrot, chopped into small cubes;
- 1/2 diced bell peppers;
- 1 teaspoon of chia seeds.
Preparation Mode:
- In a frying pan, place the oil, let it heat up and add the onion, carrot, pepper and chia seeds and let it sauté for about 10 minutes. When the onion is golden, remove from the heat and blend everything in the blender until it forms a puree.

Mix all the ingredients well and separate the mixture into 5 identical balls. Flatten each of the balls into a hamburger shape

Preparation Mode:
- In a pan, cover the whole tomatoes with water and cook for 10 minutes, remove from heat and let cool. Then, beat the tomatoes in the blender and sieve.
- In another pan, sauté the onion and garlic in oil until golden and add the beaten tomatoes, letting it boil for a few seconds. Then lower the heat and let it cook for 15 minutes.
This homemade tomato sauce can be used immediately or can be divided into individual portions and frozen for later use.
