How to prepare

2. Orange juice with watercress against anemia

- 3 large oranges;
- 1 handful of leaves and stalks of watercress.

3. Black beans with beets against anemia

- 500 g black beans;
- 1 large beetroot;
- 100 g spinach leaves.
Leave the beans to soak for 2 hours and then put them in a pressure cooker with enough water to cover them and leave them on the fire for about 20 minutes or until the beans are almost ready. Open the pressure cooker carefully and add the beetroot broken into 4 pieces and the spinach leaves, letting the pressure build up again. If necessary, add more water. Leave the beans on medium heat for another 10 minutes, or until the beets are cooked through.
After the beans and beets are well cooked, season them normally and when serving them to the children, you can offer only the beans, without the beets or just the 'broth' of the beans because it will also have the iron from the beets and the spinach.
4. Teas for anemia
