Teas such as chamomile and fennel have antispasmodic and calming properties, which promote relaxation of the body's muscles, helping to relieve the baby's colic.
However, when the baby is still breastfeeding, the doctor may recommend that the mother drink these teas, so that the properties of these drinks pass into breast milk, thus offering these benefits to the baby.
It is important to remember that teas can only be consumed by babies from 6 months and only under the guidance of the pediatrician.
